Model STI-300 Switch Module The Intermediate Frequency Switch Module (ISM) provides the switching for the 70MHz intermediate frequency used in a Satellite Control Facility (SCF) uplink and downlink. The ISM has a front panel user interface for local control of the switch, and two serial ports for remote control. The station Monitor and Control (M&C) system controls the ISM in a typical SCF. EXCELLENT SIGNAL ISOLATION A multi-layer switching board with high isolation relays is used to provide the high contact (<70dB) isolation and 50 ohm matched signal path. MODULAR DESIGN The switching modules are designed as an uplink type switch (Blocking) or a downlink type (Non-Blocking). Both types of switching modules come in various switch sizes. The 3.5" module chassis will accommodate a 12x12 matrix block. Also available is a combined uplink and downlink chassis STANDARD FEATURES
